Since 1975, Rodrigo has been redefining menswear by combining craftsmanship, Italian lifestyle and contemporary design.A total look that ranges from iconic shirts to outerwear, knitwear and accessories designed for men who live every moment of the day with authenticity and ease.
Effortless menswear
Rodrigo made its debut in the world of men's ready-to-wear fashion in 1975. The name, inspired by a character from Alessandro Manzoni's ‘The Betrothed’, is enriched with strength and dynamism through the mythological power of the iconic Centaur, which has become the brand's most recognisable and recurring logo.
50 years of Italian style
It all began in 1961 when American engineer Marvin Gelber and German businessman Fritz Karle Schulte decided to found Industria Adriatica Confezioni in Chieti.
Specialising in the production and packaging of shirts, IAC became one of Europe's leading manufacturers within a few years, producing 10 million shirts annually.
Brand development
In 1975, the company launched the Rodrigo brand, with its distinctive, effortless style, whose flagship product was the shirt. Starting in the early 1980s, the brand evolved and developed a complete collection of men's clothing.
In addition to shirts, the brand introduced outerwear, trousers, knitwear, jackets, suits and a range of accessories ranging from ties to scarves and belts, defining a total look for the contemporary man.
The new chapter
In 2013, Industria Adriatica Confezioni became SIAC Fashion Srl, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth and innovation, giving new impetus to the brand.
With new ownership, the company further expanded the concept of total look by introducing the ‘Su Misura’ line, which draws on the craftsmanship of local producers with whom it has established solid relationships.
In keeping with Italian savoir-faire, new objectives are combined with the brand's historic ones, distinctive features of a half-century of success. By combining technical and sartorial skills with new technologies, SIAC continues to explore new horizons in the world of fashion, creating garments that embody the essence of the Italian lifestyle.
